Terms and Conditions for Participation in “Europe Meets Miami” Events

 

By participating in the Event hosted by Europe Meets Miami, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). 

1. General Information

“Europe Meets Miami”, hereinafter referred to as “the Event”, is a monthly social gathering (Meetup) organized by The Armin Bar (Miami|Milan) for the purpose of fostering connections among Europeans and Miami locals.

  • The Event is typically held in public venues such as bars, restaurants, or other similar establishments where participants are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages.
  • Attendance is voluntary and free of charge. RSVPs are encouraged but not mandatory for participation.

2. Liability

The Armin Bar Inc, hereinafter referred to as “Company”, organizes the Event solely as a platform to facilitate social interaction and networking. 

  • The Company assumes no responsibility for the actions, conduct, or behavior of participants or third parties during or after the Event.
  • Participants are solely responsible for their personal safety, belongings, and interactions with other attendees.
  • The Company is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or harm arising from attendance or participation in the Event.
  • Participants expressly waive and release the Company, its affiliates, and its representatives from any claims, demands, or liabilities related to their participation in the Event.
  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, and its representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of their actions, omissions, or breach of these Terms.

3. Conduct

  • Attendees are expected to act respectfully and responsibly toward other participants, venue staff, and property.
  • Any attendee whose behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive may be asked to leave the Event at the discretion of the organizers or venue management.

4. Venue Responsibility

  • The Company does not own or control the venues where Events are held. 
  • Any issues, disputes, or incidents related to the venue (e.g., food quality, service issues, injuries on the premises) should be addressed directly with the venue management.
  • Participants must comply with the age restrictions of the venue hosting the Event. The Company is not responsible for enforcing such restrictions.

5. Consent to Photography

  • By attending the Event, participants consent to being photographed and/or filmed. 
  • These images or videos may be used by The Armin Bar (Miami|Milan), including but ot limited to Europe Meets Miami website and social media, for promotional purposes without compensation.

6. Data Collection and Privacy

  • Participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data, including RSVPs and images, solely for event management and promotional purposes, in compliance with applicable data protection laws. 
  • The Company does not sell, share, or disclose personal data to third parties without explicit consent.

7. Force Majeure

  • The Company shall not be held liable for failure to host the Event due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the Event in the case of force majeure events without liability to participants. 

8. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the Event, whether or not an RSVP is made, attendees agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

  • The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Participants will be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms by continuing to attend Events.

Disclaimer

Participation in any “Europe Meets Miami” Event implies acknowledgment and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stated above, even if the participant has not RSVPed or registered for the Event.

  • By attending, participants confirm that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions or waived the need to do so, and they accept all associated risks and responsibilities.
  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Miami, Florida.
